Story
The word friend depicts someone who has effection,love and moral ethics to stand in time of need and render all sort of help as possible.If one have true friends he has made the best investmemt of his life as they give best divident of lifetime.The telugu movie Thoonga Nagaram is based on the same ideology.The movie is the story of four friends who are binge drinkers and hence they developed their friendsip through their unhealthy activities in a vine bar.Since then they are the best buddies.They take an oath that they would stand for each other at anytime when needed and promise to help each other regardless of any circumstances.The best example becomes when one of them gets angry and walks off and at his work is which happens to be a graveyard… he gets serious shocks of electric waves and becomes seriously injured.That’s the moment when the true bond of friendship is seen.Allof them unites and run to save their friend in despair him,They take him to a hospital,they take care of him no matter what happens.
The motive of the Tamil movie Thoonga Nagaram is to show that true friends never decieve each other.As the movie proceeds further Vimal, who is the main lead role,finds his childhood love Kalaivani which was lost due of his family problem,finally marries.
Thoonga Nagaram takes an interesting turn when then friends where drinking as usual, they come to know that there were two guys who black mail the brides of the city by taking their photos with a wicked intention. Vimal who fights with them is unaware that one of them is a son of the brutal don. With the fear of being killed they leave Madurai and go back to their villages. They promise as to never return to city, but as every story tells the some how finds leader threatens Vimal’s friends to bash him.In this frustrating situation, they had no choice but to kill Vimal and save their families.But the unbreakable bonds of friendship stop them to do so. They spill out the plan to Vimal and re-make a counter plan which happens to be the suspense for the Tamil Cinema fans.Thoonga Nagaram is basically Indian Tamil-language movie which highlights the life of gangsters.Thoonga Nagaram is written and directed by debutant Gaurav, starring Vimal, Bharani, Nishanth and Anjali in the lead roles.The movie,produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine Movies.The Thoonga Nagaram is picturized in Madurai most of the time.The shooting spot was staged in Arapalyam ”Kodai Veedu” as the Lead Actress’ house.
